Last month I received my grades for assessment for both Body of Work and Contextual Studies. I am really pleased with both grades and the feed forward accompanying them.
For Body of Work I was quietly confident I had put together a strong project, even if it had been a bit of roundabout journey! Nevertheless, I was quite nervous when opening the email to see my grades. To see the assessors comments (attached below) backing up my journey as one where I had experimented was extremely rewarding.
I am a fan of feed forward comments (rather than the conventional feedback) as it points to what to improve looking forward. In this case, the feed forward naturally pointed to Sustaining Your Practice which is my last module and is the module where I will present my body of work to a professional audience.
My pointers were to experiment with scale and to tie in my interests for community art I spoke about in Contextual Studies. This is very helpful but as I will explore on my Sustaining Your Practice blog, it is a bit of a conundrum for me as to how to present my body of work with these in mind.
